Install not working on mac OSX 10.8.2

I am having problems installing 2.1 on my mac
follow directions, deleted old copies
No logs being created?

any ideas? this should be so hard…

I am running Couchbase on my Mac (10.8.3) without any issue.

I have not seen this issue using any of the official 2.x releases.

Just wondering do you have any product that use Erlang? (RabbitMQ?) may be a conflict…

I found my problem. I had old databases left over from previous versions. I
deleted them and everything works fine.
Before installing a new version make sure to delete
/Users/“username”/Library/Application Support/Couchbase
on the mac. Of course this assumes that you are ok with losing your data…
