I am wondering what the best approach is to recover most of the lost data. I my case I have a 4 node Setup running on a VM ware cluster and due to some hardware failure our backup is like 30 days old. When the system came online with 3 nodes out of 4 and we rebalanced we lost data. Right now the 4 nodes are online and i made backup of the cluster via cbbackup. I am wondering if there is a way to go and restore my VM’s and put the Couch base cluster in the 30 Day old stage which I know I can from my backups and then apply the backup i have from cbbackup and update and add any docs in the backup i made.
Or is the only way to go and restore VM’s and then compare the data / json docs in doc and update via a home brew script.
