Can not make connection to couchbase server

Hello, I am getting this exception thrown, “Exception thrown: ‘System.AggregateException’ in Couchbase.NetClient.dll”. I have been using this and this guide. In the inner exception I am getting “{“Authentication failed for bucket ‘Bucket’”}” but I’m actually failing to connect.

I am trying to open my connection with the example provided in the links above

    try
    {
        ClusterHelper.Initialize("couchbaseClients/couchbase");
        var bucket = ClusterHelper.GetBucket("bucketName");
        //code
     }

I’m also getting these warndings in the webconfig “could not find schema information for the element ‘couchbase’”

This is what my webconfig looks like:

@krnforsale -

Using your exact code I was able to connect to my VM cluster. I suspect that perhaps a firewall or something similar is blocking the ports required for the client to connect to the cluster?

-Jeff

To help diagnose if there is something blocking ports @krnforsale you could try our new experimental project that @brett19 has been working on to make it easier to diagnose environmental problems. Its working name at the moment is SDK doctor. Maybe try running it in that env? It may not find anything, but it will validate that common connectivity problems aren’t there.

You’ll find pre-built binaries on the release page.

Usually the summary at the end is pretty easy to interpret. If you need help with interpretation, please feel free to post it or a link to it here.
