Can't connect to server after Couchbase 7.0.1 upgrade

Just upgraded to 7.0.1 from the 7.0.0 beta, and I can’t connect to the server anymore. Admin console is down too:

$ curl http://127.0.0.1:8091
curl: (7) Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 8091: Connection refused

I’m on the latest macOS. Does the Couchbase app dump logs anywhere that might be illuminating?

Hi @tpict ,

Default location for Couchbase logs on macOS:

~/Library/Application\ Support/Couchbase/var/lib/couchbase/logs

Reference: Manage Logging | Couchbase Docs

My understanding is that upgrading from a Beta version to a GA version is not a supported upgrade path. If you don’t mind starting from scratch with an empty cluster, the sledgehammer solution would be to completely uninstall the beta before installing 7.0.1.

Thanks,
David

Hi,

I am also facing the same issue. I created a topic around it Couchbase Upgrade Issues from 7.0.0 to 7.0.1. We are using the Enterprise Edition of Couchbase server in our staging environment, and when I tried to upgrade it from 7.0.0 to 7.0.1. The web console doesn’t start. Please let me know what information is need from my side or where should I look for errors.

Manoj. P
