I would like to run cbbackupmgr from a server that is not part of the Couchbase 4.5 cluster. How to install just cbbackupmgr in that backup server?
The easiest way to do this is to install Couchbase on the backup server and then stop the server process. You can do this by running “/etc/init.d couchbase-server stop”. You can then just use that server to run the backup tool. In the future we will have a separate install package for tools.
