Client-Side timeout exceeded for operation on local db

Hi,

I am getting this error from time to time on my local machine.
CouchbaseError: Client-Side timeout exceeded for operation. Inspect network conditions or increase the timeout.

Community Edition 5.1.1 build 5723, ubuntu 16.04
I am using couchbase protocol:
this.cluster = new couchbase.Cluster(‘couchbase://localhost’)

Its happening from time to time, most of the time things are working.

The db is on local machine, so its not network conditions, what else can I do t to prevent it?
I read all existing topics about this error, none of them suggest any solution.

Hey @ady.shimony,

Where is your Couchbase instance running? It’s possible that it is being heavily loaded and causing operations to naturally time out due to failure to service them within the default 2.5s timeout.

Hi bret,

On my local machine, i7 12 gig memory, ssd, ubuntu 16.04. I don’t see any resource loaded.
Also, I set bucket.operationTimeout = 120 * 1000.
