Configuring a single cluster node as an administrator console

Hello, is this possible? I am thinking it would be part of the cluster but would not contain vBuckets. This admin console would need to be accessible via TCP 8091 only. But would access the ports needed for node-to-node communication on the other cluster members, as referenced in this link: http://docs.couchbase.com/admin/admin/Install/install-networkPorts.html

I would like to secure this cluster as much as possible with only a single node responsible to administrative functions. The other nodes would strictly be for memcache. Any ideas?

This might be possible in future versions. Currently it’s not. The stats that populate the UI are available over the REST API if you need to monitor from a third party source.

This is a good feature request and we’ve made note of this as a possibility in the future.
