Couchbase 2.1.1 initial setup - Free Disk Space - 0 GB

#1

Hi,

I am trying to setup a new couchbase server. When during initial setup, on Step 1 of 5 where it asks for configure Disk storage it shows Free 0 GB for any directory I mention. Please note that the RAM is showing correct. This is the question / issue only for Disk storage.

However, when I give the path and proceed ahead (with Free 0 GB), it takes 960 MB only (not sure where 960MB is coming from (default?)), while we have around >40 GB free space on the directory which I am mentioning.

Please help. I am using centos -
Linux 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Feb 22 00:31:26 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux.

I see a similar question at http://www.couchbase.com/communities/q-and-a/couchbase-doesnt-recognize-disk but do not see answer. The post refers to https://www.couchbase.com/issues/browse/MB-4376 for which the issue is with both RAM + disk. However my issue is just only with Disk. RAM shown is accurate on initial setup.

Please help.

This has been resolved.

The default was taking logical path vs physical path. Changing the path to physical path resolved the issue.
