Couchbase Cluster Nodes having different linux versions

Hi,
Can we use linux machines having different RHEL versions to configure the Couchbase cluster? Will there be any compatibility issues?

We have two linux machines one having RHEL v5.5 and another with RHEL v6.4. We are planning to create a Couchbase cluster with two nodes - first node in linux box with v 5.5 and second node in linux box with v6.4.
Since these are production machines, we cannot do a trial now.

Please advise.

Hey @CouchbaseTrial,

Although it may work, it hasn’t been thoroughly tested that way. That being said, I don’t recommend doing this in a production environment.

Best,

Thank you @nraboy,

We are proceeding with same Linux version.
