CPU spiking to 100 percent

I had been using Couchbase Server Version: 3.0.2-1603 Enterprise Edition (build-1603) for almost an year. I never faced this problem until last couple of weeks.

I see that erl.exe, sigar_port.exe and memcached.exe is spiking the CPU to 100% and my laptop. This is happening consistently every 10 minutes. Something is wrong. I dont have much data in the Couchbase. Below is the snapshot of my cluster.

I am running 8 core 4th gen i7 processor with 16GB of RAM. Also I use SSD. Can someone please help me with this issue.

Hey @kris_smarty,

Between now (when it got bad) and then (when it was good), did you apply any updates to your system? Updates include Windows updates, Couchbase updates, or any other.

I think it is a good starting point for successful troubleshooting :smile:
