The Couchbase team has been working on a feature called Field Level Encryption (FLE) and we are looking for feedback from the wider community!
The SDK team has an RFC process for such a feature, and if you want to read through this one go here: https://github.com/couchbaselabs/sdk-rfcs/blob/master/rfc/0032-field-level-encryption.md
If you are not that kind of person who likes to read longer technical documents, we still encourage you to try out the feature in your favorite language and provide feedback!
Check out the documentation for each language, i.e. .NET http://docs.couchbase.com/dotnet-sdk/2.5/encrypting-using-sdk.html#topbar-menu
Look at the samples provided in this repository, i.e. .NET https://github.com/couchbaselabs/devguide-examples/blob/master/dotnet/FieldEncryptionRsa.cs and https://github.com/couchbaselabs/devguide-examples/blob/master/dotnet/FieldEncryptionAes.cs
Just comment below if you have questions or ideas on how to improve!
