How do you rename a development view?

I must be blind, but I don’t see a way to rename a development view. Copy-pasting to a new view is easy, but tedious. What am I missing?!?

There is no rename function, even in rest api http://www.couchbase.com/docs/couchbase-manual-2.0/couchbase-views-designdoc-api.html

You are right there is not API to rename a view, you have to recreate it from sources.
I have created a new feature request, do not hesitate to vote for it:
