Inconsistent write operation in long duration

When I am performing write operations on CouchbaseDB for long duration , then at times the write operation fails for few minutes and then resumes normally . Below mentioned error is observed at the time when write operation is failing

You are running into whats called TMPFAIL and its the server telling you to slow down because it can’t cope with the write speed. So you either need to slow down writing (retry with backoff) or look at your server side to figure out whats causing the slowness and either fix the cause or add more nodes to your cluster to cope with the increased load. Since its write ops maybe you have a slow disk, or are you using full eviction?
