I run 3 nodes on AWS EC2.
c4.2xlarge, which is 8vcpu and 15 GIG of RAM. I have seperate EBS Volumes for Data and Index on General Purpose SSD Volumes(gp2). O/S is Latest version of Linux Centos 7.2.
