Missing attachment

An alternative do deleting the db would be to purge the documents. I think this will remove them from the local db, but that removal won’t be replicated to the server. After you’ve purged I believe your device will reclaim the space after you call compact on the db.

Thanks for you reply. You were the one who reported that issue initially. Did it happen again on your environment ? Did you succeed understanding and analysing that behaviour ?

Hi, sorry I don’t have a good answer for you. All I can say is that I’ve not noticed it happening recently, and I didn’t intentionally do anything to fix it.

My problem though was nothing to do with the CBL client. The sync-gateway server was reporting that there was an attachment in a document, but that attachment couldn’t be loaded via the sg REST api - it just wasn’t there.

Sorry, I don’t have any good suggestions, other than to file a bug report against Sync Gateway on Github.
