Where can i get the source code for 2.1.0?

i wish to install the coucbase server using source rather then a package like .deb or .rpm. can someone give me a link to the source and possibly directions on how to install it to get the same results as if i was to install the debian or centos package

The easiest way is to grab the source tarball here:

http://packages.couchbase.com/releases/2.0.1/couchbase-server_src-2.0.1.tar.gz

you can also clone everything from the github.com/couchbase repo, but thats more work to assemble it.

You can get the sources by following the steps documented here:
